PRICING
All prices listed are quoted F.O.B. KGS ENGINEERING, California. All prices guaranteed to be correct at time of publishing, except for typographical errors.
All prices and specifications are subject to change without notice.
PAYMENT
All orders must be prepaid by cashiers check, certified check, money order, or credit card. Personal checks are subject to 10 days hold. Prepayment made by regular company check will be held until it clears before merchandise can be shipped. International shipments must be prepaid in US dollars.
Domestic payments must include the shipping costs in addition to the cost of merchandise.
BACK ORDERS
If KGS ENGINEERING is unable to immediately fill the entire order, the balance of the shipment will be placed on back order. All back orders will be automatically shipped upon their availability.
SHIPPING
All ground shipments of accessories, lights, spoilers, fenders, hoods, etc can only be shipped to the confirmed billing address of the credit card and require a valid phone number that we will call to confirm the purchase. All FedEx and UPS orders require delivery signature upon arrival. Freight items such as body kits and oversized products can be delivered to the billing address with the added residential surcharge or to a place of business at the commercial rate. All freight shipping time are estimated only. Upon delivery photo identification must be provided and signature is required. These measures have been implemented to avoid fraudulent purchases and to protect credit card holders. IP Addresses and internet service provider information is logged with each order. All fraudulent purchases will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law with local law enforcement as well as the FBI.
All orders will be shipped via the most economical method chosen by KGS Engineering, unless otherwise specified by the customer prior to the date of shipment. UPS is the preferred method of shipment unless the merchandise is too large for UPS standards which would require shipping by truck freight carriers. Most rear wings and spoilers can be shipped by UPS, while most fiberglass body kits require truck freight.
Shipping charges must be included in the payment.<P>
SHIPPING DAMAGE
KGS ENGINEERING packs all merchandise carefully to prevent damage during shipments. Nevertheless, damage may occur occasionally in transit. Any damage in shipment is the responsibility of the carrier, therefore all damage claims must be made by the purchaser directly to the carrier. All products shipped by KGS ENGINEERING are insured for their full value.
In case of damage retain all cartons, packing materials and damaged merchandise for the carrier to inspect. Never refuse shipment or return it without approval since your right to make a damage claim may be denied.
If the damage is apparent upon receipt, accept the merchandise and note the damage and irregularities (such as crushed, torn or broken packing) on the freight bill and have the driver sign it as verification. If the damage is not readily apparent at the time of arrival (where the box is intact but the merchandise inside is damaged), then it must be reported to the shipping company within 24 working hours after receipt of shipment.
After inspecting the damaged merchandise, the carrier will determine whether to pay for repair costs or replacement value of the damaged goods. Replacement value is not negotiable, it is the amount that you paid. Repair cost is an arbitrary amount which can be negotiated with the carrier in the event of disagreement.
All disputes as to the settlement amount or manner should be addressed with the carrier. KGS ENGINEERING under no circumstances shall be liable for the damaged merchandise or for subsequent settlement of the claim with the carrier. However, as a courtesy, we would be glad to help you in reaching an amicable settlement with the carrier in the event that you need assistance.<P>
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations prior to shipping are subject to a 30% cancellation fee, orders can be canceled within 30 days of the order date. No cancellation for orders that are shipped. All carbon fiber, Kaminari, RKsports, Visracing, Seibon, Sarona products are special order only, no return or exchange. Exchange only on defective products. Customer is responsible for return shipping cost. <P>
RETURNS
All returns must be approved by KGS ENGINEERING prior to being returned.
All returns must be received by KGS ENGINEERING within 7 days of the original ship date. Any items received after 7 days of the original ship date will be refused and returned to the purchaser at his/her expense.
Include a copy of the original invoice with all returned merchandise.
Retail customers have the option of refund or store credit.
All returns must be sent shipping prepaid. Any returns sent freight collect will be refused and returned to the purchaser at his/her expense.
Returns are not allowed on special order, electronic, or on sale products. Products that are installed or modified in any way can't be returned.
All returnable items must be carefully packed in original packaging or better if the original packaging is not in good condition. Purchaser is advised to insure the returned goods for their full value for his own protection, since neither KGS ENGINEERING nor the shipping company would be responsible for any damage or loss in shipment.
Refunds will not be issued on returned merchandise damaged on the way back to KGS ENGINEERING. In the event returned merchandise is damaged, KGS ENGINEERING. will file a claim with the carrier and refund the purchaser upon settlement of the claim. Shipping charge is not refundable.
ABOUT THE PRODUCTS OFFERED BY KGS ENGINEERING
KGS ENGINEERING is known for its variety of aerodynamic body kits for the simple reason that we are importers, distributors and manufacturers all wrapped up in one. We have hand picked all the kits in our catalog for all of the following reasons: uniqueness of style, good quality or superb value.
Some of the styles are more aggressive and unique, such as the VS body kits or wide body kits, which inadvertently result in kits that are more difficult to install and may require many hours of expert customization or modification. Other kits which are subtle looking by their nature of design are much easier to install.
Our on line catalog is meant to serve as a visual guide while the descriptions under the pictures are meant for REFERENCE only and nothing more. The catalog is for your use to see what a particular style of ground effect kit looks like.<P>
BODYKITS/SPOILERS:
Buyer fully understands that all body kits and spoilers are sold "as is" with no warranty. Due to the fact that most body kits are made of fiberglass chips and cracks may need to be repaired prior to installation - This is normal with fiberglass parts. Buyer also understands that due to strict U.S. Federal and State Safety crash guidelines, KGS ENGINEERING. is not responsible or liable for any damage or possible injury incurred upon possible accidents due to driver error, incorrect installations, bad judgement (cracking or breaking your parts). Buyer understands that all bodykits/spoilers may need modifications for correct fitment such as removal of safety reinforcements, removal of factory bumper lights/side marker indicators, shaving, molding, etc. Because many of these kits are prototyped and used on non-USA vehicles that have much less safety standards/requirements in their respective countries of origin, KGS ENGINEERING. is not liable for any illegal street use of these parts. Bodykits require some prep work before painting and professional body shop installation is highly recommended.
Fiberglass body kits are sold "AS IS" and it is the customers responsibility to know all of the work involved in the installation process. Understand fiberglass kits are not always direct bolt-ons. Sometimes it is possible a fiberglass kit may need a lot of prep work including filling gaps, trimming, or grinding. Sense recommends that the retail customer seek an experienced custom shop to do the install on body kits and know all the procedures, of installing fiberglass kits. We do not recommend a collision shop to do installs on body kits, they are only experienced on installing OEM parts that are direct bolt-on and do not know the procedure of installing fiberglass body kits.
FIBERGLASS/ CARBON HOODS:
Buyer fully understands that all fiberglass and carbon fiber hoods or hoods in general that are sold by KGS ENGINEERING. are sold "as-is" with no warranty expressed or implied. All hoods are made for track use only and not legal on public highways or streets.Buyer also understands that due to strict U.S. Federal and State Safety crash guidelines, KGS ENGINEERING. is not responsible or liable for any damage or possible injury incurred upon possible accidents due to driver error, incorrect installations, bad judgement (cracking or breaking your parts). We strongly recommend Hood Pins for safety reinforcement. Buyer Understands all Hoods are aftermarket parts and have no OEM specifications whatsoever. Hoods may require some prep work and modifications before painting and installation - professional body shop installation is highly recommended. <P>
Warranty/Liability
All products sold by KGS Engineering Online are sold “as is†to the customer. KGS Engineering does NOT offer warranty on any of the products sold unless specifically noted. If warranty is offered by the manufacturer, warranty documentation will be sent with the product. All products sold by KGS Engineering are aftermarket products and are intended for off-road or show use only. KGS Engineering is not liable for any damages or injury as a result of these products. Due to strict regulations by the Department of Transportation, some of these products are not approved for street/highway use. Removal of reinforcements, bumpers, turn signals, and other safety equipment on the vehicle is the responsibility of the buyer. KGS Engineering will not be responsible for your own actions.
